Matcha Ochaya

Very instagrammable place with mediocre food and lackluster customer service. Cute cat in the cafe that wanders around, adding to the IG vibe. The food quality was truly not worth the prices- they look pretty but severely lacking in taste. We got a bowl of pho and the sakura sharing platter, together with drinks. For whatever reason they served the dessert platter before our main course came, which resulted in the soft serve ice-cream melting before we could even rush to finish our main course. And then they actually moved us to another smaller table in the MIDDLE OF OUR MEAL, to make space for more customers arriving. In the first place we shouldn't be seated there if there is such a policy in store. Basically the drinks didn't taste of anything besides sugar and colouring, the pho was in an MSG-based soup with very little beef flavour, the beef balls were dry and the meat was overcooked in the broth. Also the shop name on the external facade is different from the one reflected here, so good luck with locating it in the first place.

I had matcha latte and whipped cream. It was quite underwhelming, not very sweet and I didn't taste the matcha much. The atmosphere was nice and calm.

Very cute, everything was colorful and cute, interesting menu. The pineapple milkshake was too sour. And it was a bit confusing because when you arrived at the address, it didn’t show the sign of Ochaya but the sign was Pho - I didn’t know if I was at the right place.

Extremely great desserts and diverse options. Such a delight! Also, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is super refreshing, and the atmosphere is very lovely. Can't wait to come back to try other options!
