Royal Turenne

We arrived here yesterday cold, been walking for a long time and had gotten lost. My son wanted a burger and I wanted something simple and homely after trying a few restaurants and being disappointed with the food. Anyway my son had what he called the best burger in his life. It did look a large healthy gourmet burger with french fries but not thin. I had a battered fish with wedges and a beautiful homemade tartar sauce. Glass of Chablis , Carafe of water and we were fully satisfied. Lots of other guests were enjoying Oysters. The waiter was lovely. Attentive but not over zealous. Highly recommended, lovely ambience about the place.

So. Good. Our waitress was fantastic, made great suggestions and was so friendly and welcoming. The food was the best non-Michelin star food we had our whole stay. Tres bien!

The food was lovely! So good we had to visit twice😋 We chose this restaurant as we didn’t want to go far at first. The food quality was surprising. We had Mussels, Duck and seared tuna. All are cooked very well!

We had to chicken wok and the pepper steak and both were very good. The steak came only with the pepper sauce and the french fries although in the menu it said there is also some salad leaves, but they were very tasty. It wasn't necessarily a problem as the chicken wok came with plenty of vegetables that we shared as they were too much for just one person. The chicken from the wok was soft, despite being boiled/steamed as it says on the menu. The service was nice and fast. Only thing is that the tables were cdowded, but that is a common thing in this city

I loved this place so much I went there twice for breakfast during my honeymoon! Not only is it value for money, but they serve perfectly cooked eggs, delectable croissants and toasts too! The bacon is nicely seasoned and the staff is super friendly too. I felt really comfortable and happy eating there!
