Noir

My husband and I hoped to visit La Pie Noir when we were in Paris in July 2023 but they were closed for vacation (yay civilization!) We made it a point to try it when we came back. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the setting delighful, but what made our visit special was the service. It was warm and welcoming and just attentive enough. I highly recommend the prix fixe 3 course meal—it’s an excellent value. I particularly enjoyed the ravioli and the duck; my niece devoured the scallops and my husband raved about the hanger steak. Oh, and the desserts were to-die-for. Highly recommend!

My most favorite french restaurant so far. Everything is perfect!! All dishes were delicious even I am so picky about French foods. The staff are very friendly. Thanks for make us a beautiful night in Paris. So glad that we decided to go here.

Amazing dinner experience at La Pie Noir. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was like a casual and warm family gathering. The food was also amazing! Our favorite dishes include the razor clams, bone marrow, beef tartare, and the duck breast. A set menu with entrée and plat was 35€, a very reasonable price for the quality.

What a top location! We were received by two lovely ladies that made us feel right at home. It is a small and cosy location with a small but varied menu. The razor clams were out of this world, the fois gras exceptional. For the mains we had the onglet with a very flavorful jus de viande and the steak tartare. Both were terrifically prepared and we would highly recommend them. The roasted potatoes are absolutely delicious. The wines are also excellent quality. They have an open kitchen that also adds to the ambiance. To sum it up, if you walk past this restaurant and choose not to eat there in favor of another location in Quartier Latin, you missed a terrific meal and experience. Viva La Pie Noir! I had the most delicious meal and lovely experience when visiting alone the other evening (23rd Oct) I was made to feel very welcome by the team. Every course was absolutely fabulous, I had the Razor Clams followed by the Steak Tartar and the Pistachio Creme Brulee to finish. Service super friendly and very quick! I also reserved online - no problem with booking this way and confirmed immediately by email. I would love to return when next visiting. Bravo!
