Specialty coffees & baked goods in a snug cafe set within an industrial-chic space....
Regular flat white was very bright and clear with super symmetric latte art. The dirty chai was, as my gf said the best she had. And the cinnamon bun was delicious with plenty of cinnamon flavor. Also staff very friendly
Now this is an exceptional coffee shop, the quality of the coffee they put out is brilliant and yoy can tell why baristas there have won national championships! Even the lowest priced coffee on drip is incredible - I had a super drip with some notes of blueberry and peaches, really acidic and a delightful brew! Overall a nice busy atmosphere, not too loud and I was able to have a good conversation with another man who was enjoying the exceptional coffee!
The best specialty coffee in Paris! I tried - Super special pour over Esmeralda Gesha Datura and it was mind blowing: fruity and acidic at the same time, worth every penny! - Super special espresso Finca Gesha and it blew my mind even more! Youβve gotta try to know what I mean! Their team is outstanding and will make your wildest coffee dreams come true!
Motors Coffee is pure energy in Paris β and absolutely lives up to the hype. The coffee is top-tier, always dialed in, and the staff manages to stay friendly and efficient even with the constant rush. The banana bread is non-negotiable: it pairs perfectly with the coffee and has basically become our ritual every time we visited. They offer excellent options of beans for both filtered and espresso, and their retail selection is sharp if you want to take great coffee home. And the line? 100% worth it. Motors delivers excellence with personality β easily one of the most reliable coffee stops in the city. βπ₯
I write this to you, my dear reader, back at my desk at this soul crushing 9-5 job hoping, dreaming, wishing of having one last Motors Coffee run on our Paris trip. It was head and shoulders our favorite coffee shop in the City of Light, and we lowkey made our rounds. It's a small shop, but filled to the brim with life and passion. I'm normally not a pastry guy, but if I lived anywhere near Motors I would absolutely be a pastry guy. The cinnamon roll was light and delicate, as opposed to the overly sweet and dense ones I'm used to. We also got a vanilla pastry they were testing, and a sugar cookie with milk chocolate drizzled on top. Ugh, take me back, inject these into my veins. I got my goto hot black coffee, and you could taste the freshness of the beans. My girlfriend got a latte that had the most beautiful little flower art on it. How do they even do that? I'm proud of myself, as I knew even when we were sitting in here enjoying our pastries, hot coffees, and each other's company that this was a moment I would look back on and cherish. It's always great knowing itβs one of those moments when you're actually in it. You can fully appreciate it. My one regret is that I didn't get the ladies name serving us, as she was so sweet, recommended great pastries, and was just a pleasant human being.
