Maison Teissedre

Don’t know about the food, but I got water to pay to use the bathroom, I wasn’t feeling well and dizzy and the man who works there very very rudely told me “you didn’t pay to sit here” (I sit in the terrace out which was totally empty) I said I got the water and he said “you took the water to go” the place was completely empty, again. I didn’t experience any rudeness in Paris, this was the first time and hopefully the last. I wonder if I said I want to sit with the water if it’s suddenly valid. Quite absurd and I generally did not feel that the staff was very kind, but maybe it’s because I didn’t sit down to eat, but my intuition told me not to eat because of the weird atmosphere.

Last minute decision to have a quick lunch. Excellent Quiche du Jour and salade. Very pleasant owner. This is an excellent value in an otherwise high priced area.

Amazing place to feel in Paris. Great atmosphere and great food. Cheese plater, the best, hot wine and a delicious pumpkin soup. The couple working there very friendly. I went with my parents and we loved the place. Highly recommended.

Cozy and relaxing place. We don’t speak French so the owner communicated with us in English. He is nice and friendly. We had a good time here.

It is a cosy place with friendly staff. I ordered toast, I thought it would be french toast but was a normal toast. Anyway it was my mistake 😅 My boyfriend had an omelette, it was very light and fluffy.
