La Coupe d'Or

Came across this beauty whilst looking for an early morning coffee and breakfast. It seemed family run. The service was good: food and decor amazing!

I stopped by for an early dinner, looking for something not too filling. I ordered the Onion Soup with a glass of red wine, followed by Afogato for desert. Service was fast and professional. The location on a bustling but not overly crowded street in the low motor traffic area near the Louvre.

The best cafe in Paris when it’s fashion week or when you want to be close to the top-end fashion stores. Whilst located in the middle of one of the most luxurious streets in Paris, this place has kept the soul of a true French cafe. Wonderful terrace to sit outside and people-watch. An excellent interior, tasteful decor and some honest, yet excellent food. I’ve got to recommend the iced tea - one of the best in Paris!

Classic French cuisine in a refined, calm atmosphere. We only had two glasses of Moët Champagne, yet the service was warm, attentive, and never pushy. Special thanks to Hassan, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and made us feel truly welcome. Would happily return.

I was so surprised and impressed by the service and food quality. I came this morning and I had an appointment, I told them sorry will come back later to continue my coffee and pain au chocolat. I was surprised and impressed that they kept the table booked for one hour and my coffee and pain au chocolat are waiting for me. Well done and kudos for this amazing service that I wasn’t expecting at all. This is how you keep people come back. Excellent team, service and location.
