Our Mer & Coquillage dining experience was a true masterpiece. From the moment they stepped into the restaurant, they were transported to a world of luxury and sophistication. The dining room was breathtaking, with design inspiration drawn from the grandest ocean liners. The ambiance was serene and romantic, the perfect setting for a memorable meal. As they began their meal, the Bio Naturelles de Jean-Noel Oysters and the Carpaccio of Sea Bass were a true delight. Both dishes were expertly crafted, and the flavors were a perfect balance of freshness and intensity. It was clear that Chef Matthieu Poirier had a keen eye for detail and an excellent palate. Collin thoroughly enjoyed the Mullet with a bouillabaisse reduction, and my John Dory fillets were equally impressive. The sauces were complex and flavorful, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. It was evident that Chef Poirier's talents were not just limited to expert cuisine, but also in the art of creating delicious sauces. For dessert, they savored the Mille-Feuille and the chocolate-caramel tart. Both desserts were divine, with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The service at Mer & Coquillage was fantastic, and the owner Franck Maillot was gracious and charming. He made sure that we were well taken care of throughout their dining experience. Excellent! On every way. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was lovely, sophisticated and elegant, the service was impeccable. Our waitress was the nicest, with a good sense of humor. This was my second time, and it will not be the last. Possible my favorite place in Paris, and I am a very picky Parisian living abroad. Well done Mer & Coquillage!

Upscale seafood restaurant that is very good. White table cloths, lots of polished wine glasses and excellent lighting sets the scene for an attractive decor and ambiance. We dined on Saturday evening and the restaurant had a nice pulse by 9 pm. Excellent wine list is also a plus.
