Pedone

Not the beer ice cream I had since I live in Italy. However I can attest it's of good quality. Missing some taste and seems to be watery. I had the grande cup (10€) and frankly not worth it for that price. The limone lacked taste and was watery. The castagne was good and here again lacked taste. Nocciola was good and finally vaniglia was ok. Next time I'd better try their Affogato or Oroverde Pistacchio or Torta Miringata al limone.

Pedone Gelati is a great spot for authentic Italian gelato in Paris. The gelato is rich and creamy without being overly sweet, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. We only tried the pistachio, but it was absolutely delicious — nutty, smooth, and full of real pistachio flavor. They offer a mix of classic flavors, rotating fruit sorbets, and a few more indulgent options like brioche filled with gelato and affogatos. The shop itself has a relaxed, modern feel, the staff are friendly and helpful, and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving excellent gelato. 🍦

really good! i really really hate coffee ice cream and was regretting the fact that i purchased two cups however the coffee wasnt too strong nor bitter furthermore the tiramisu really did taste like tiramisu it was shocking! i will be visiting again

a cute ice cream shop and the homemade cones smelled so good. I chose chocolate and vanilla, I don't like anything too sweet so I enjoyed looking around (although I'm not a huge ice cream person). The staff were friendly and luckily I visited on a cold rainy day so there was no line and I got to sit inside. Every time I've passed by before there was a long line of people waiting to buy ice cream.

Bored with regular ice cream 🍨? Even though each ice cream tastes different from the other ones, an ice cream scoop is an ice cream scoop. So when we walked by Pedone and saw their creation called Generoso, we couldn't resist. Well, we almost could cause €10 for ice cream is expensive. 😅 But we still ordered one... each! 😋 Basically a Generoso is made of gelato in a cup, topped with some sauce, whipped cream or meringue and sometimes toppings. I wanted the pistachio one, but it was topped with whipped cream, which I dislike, so I asked if that could be replaced by meringue and the clerks accepted. 🥳 I love pistachio gelato, I love 🇮🇹 Italian meringue and I love pistachio chunks so I could only love that cup... 🙌 Well, the thing is that I forgot to mention 1 ingredient: chocolate 🍫. The issue with chocolate is that its taste covers the taste of everything else. So basically I had a chocolate dessert. And not only am I not a big fan of chocolate in desserts, but that was not what I wanted. 😓 The whole mix was super sweet. OK, maybe I made a mistake and replacing whipped cream with meringue was not a great idea, but the cream itself was super sweet. 👎 And I can't give an opinion about its flavor because of what I explained about chocolate... Overall, I regret ordering that cup, which I didn't enjoy and cost almost as much as the meal I had before. The only good thing was that we could sit inside, necessary with such hot weather and... after queuing for 10 minutes to get into the parlor. 😤 . . . Quality & taste: 2/10 Quantities: 8/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Originality: 9/10 Ratio price / quality: 2/10 Service: 9/10 How I felt afterwards: 3/10
