Les Optimistes

A truly wonderful place that is welcoming to all, including two jet-lagged Americans (my wife and I). Mousse was an absolute gem of a host, offering great drink suggestions and lively conversation that made us feel right at home in a different country. Rest assured, when we return to Paris (and we hope it will be soon), another visit to Les Optimistes will be on our itinerary.

Hole in the wall, full of character and charm. Well worth a visit off the beaten path.

Hidden gem in Paris; Fantastic hosts. Optimism at its core, welcoming and warm. Mousse & Paul tres fantastic! Perfect spot for a relaxing evening aperitif & wine. Super funky bar just outside Luxembourg Gardens. Definitely worth a visit next time you’re in the city of love ❤️

We stumbled across this place by accident on the second last day of our week in Paris and we absolutely loved it. So much so that we made sure to go back again on our last day. Out of all of our Paris experiences, this was probably our favourite. The bartender, Mous(?) was lovely, we had such a great time talking to him and sampling some of their wines and beers. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quiet drink or two at a lovely little bar in Paris.
