The gluten-free cinnamon roll and French coffee at Judy’s Café in Paris made for a perfect mid-afternoon treat. The roll was soft, warmly spiced, and surprisingly indulgent for a gluten-free option, and it paired beautifully with a smooth, well-balanced coffee that felt truly Parisian. The cozy, light-filled atmosphere and friendly service made it an easy spot to relax and savor every bite and sip. I’d happily come back for the same order on my next visit.
We came to Judy’s last weekend for some late lunch (thank you for serving lunch past 3pm - not easy to find in France!!). My mum is gluten intolerant and it was so nice to be able to walk in and know we didn’t have to ask any questions about the menu. She had the harvest bowl which she enjoyed and I had the avocado toast. Special mention to the halloumi, which was possibly the best halloumi I have ever had and we wish we had ordered an extra side of it! I had seen some mixed reviews of the banana bread but we had the banana bread french toast and enjoyed it. I also had a juice which was so delicious and refreshing. Would recommend!!
Meh, the food was underwhelming. I posted the English translation of the lunch menu. We each had the Judy’s (pumpkin chicken) tajine. It was dry and not very flavorful. The menu stated it has pumpkin seeds but I didn’t notice any, and the dish needed citrus in it, although it supposedly has lemon peel in it. We shared a piece of carrot cake and it was dry and not very tasty. The reason why carrot cake is typically a great choice at a gf place is because it’s naturally dense and moist, so the texture has a lower bar to reach. But it should never be dry. My gf recipe has carrot baby food and pineapple. Very moist. You order with the server and then pay your bill through the QR code. The restrooms are upstairs. I would not go back again. Boulangerie Chambelland is still my favorite dedicated gf cafe. It has great bowls and baked goods.
Lovely cute Australian cafe, great service. I had the warm banana bread with almond butter. As an Australian I was so happy to fnd this cafe, I liked the yellow/white awnings and that's why I stopped only to be pleasantly surprised it is Australian !
Judy Paris is such a charming spot! The atmosphere feels both chic and cozy, with a true Parisian vibe. Their dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor – everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The blueberry pancake was absolutely amazing for someone eating gluten-free, and the scrambled eggs with halloumi were also really tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. A perfect place whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a special evening out. Definitely a spot I’d recommend in Paris!
