Lively bistro in the style of the early 20th century, known for lamb shanks, steaks & risotto....
Stayed in a hotel nearby in the beautiful, peaceful area of Montmarte. Found this gem for a coffee and smoke before our adventure in the area. We came back every morning since! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, no issues with a language barrier at all. Coffee is delicious, if you love a good foamy dry cappuccino please try here! Eggs are very delicious and their croissants are buttery and tasty. We are both coffee freaks and thoroughly enjoyed the coffee here, my partner was keen to try the espressos and wasnβt disappointed at all. Outside seating is perfect for people watching and enjoying the morning sunshine. Thank you Le Vrais!
Super chill staff joking around, the main guy went out to smoke every 5min, knows every person on the block. I had the brunch. I think for the quality and freshness itβs reasonably priced, even for tourist sector. I chilled a lot itβs super cozy with good music. Super delicious!
Fantastic place; the chicken burger and risotto were very delicious. The staff was also wonderful.
Had a lovely lunch here on New Year's Day. Our server was very kind and accommodating. The vibe is very cozy and sweet, with lovely quotes and flowers and soft lighting. All of us enjoyed our food, with my boyfriend declaring their beef bourguignon the best he has ever had. If you find yourself in Montmartre, I strongly recommend this spot!
We chose this restaurant for our last dinner in the city, hoping for something special, and it surpassed every expectation. It was, without a doubt, one of the best meals we had during our entire trip. The atmosphere is perfectly Parisian. Bustling and warm, with the soft glow of lights and the happy murmur of conversation. It feels both classic and completely genuine. Now, for the star of the show: the Boeuf Bourguignon. This was not just a dish; it was a masterpiece. We had tried this classic elsewhere, but Le Vrai's version is in a league of its own. The beef was so impossibly tender it practically melted at the touch of a fork, dissolving into a rich, deeply flavorful sauce that was the very essence of wine, herbs, and slow, loving cooking. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, each one having absorbed that magnificent sauce while retaining its own character. It was, in every sense, a chef's kiss. A perfect, soul-warming, and utterly sublime plate of food. Paired with a recommended glass of Burgundy, it was a moment of pure culinary bliss. The entire meal, from the amuse-bouche to the final sip of espresso, was flawless. The service was attentive and charming, making us feel like honored guests. To end our time in Paris with such a memorable and delicious meal was a gift. Le Vrai truly understands the heart of French cuisine. Do not miss it
