Easygoing dining spot with outdoor seating offering international-inspired standards....
Quick lunch and a glass of wine on a busy street corner. Quiche and salad good. Salad lunch special good too.
Le Sèvres was a cute little spot with a nice, chill vibe. The food was decent, drinks were good, and the overall atmosphere was super laid-back. Our server Clément was honestly the highlight—really friendly and polite. Great service makes all the difference!
After a full day of luxury shopping, I stopped at Le Sèvres Raspail hoping for a relaxed wind-down moment. Unfortunately, the experience was less than ideal. From the start, the server’s demeanor felt unnecessarily harsh—greeting me with a curt, “What do you want?” tone that was jarring, especially for someone looking to decompress. I attempted to engage politely in English and asked for guidance on the happy hour menu, but was met with indifference and no effort to clarify the options. Additionally, basic hospitality elements were overlooked. I wasn’t offered water, light snacks like almonds, or anything one might expect at a brasserie during early evening service. The overall service felt rushed and unwelcoming. On the positive side, the location is excellent—well-situated for people-watching and easily accessible from many nearby attractions. The setting has potential, but the service failed to meet even baseline expectations for Paris, especially coming off the heels of refined experiences elsewhere in the city. If you’re in the area and prioritize location over warmth of service, it may suffice. But for a guest accustomed to attentive, respectful hospitality, Le Sèvres Raspail fell short.
We were walking to the mall and found this very cute French bistro. We just had coffee and dessert. Excellent service and the desserts were delicious but what stood out was their home made apple pie. Fresh, made in house, not too sweet and the apples were delicious. Would stop in if in the area.
Lovely spot for lunch. Friendly service. We had the quiche Lorraine special. It was delicious and freshly made. We also had the smoked salmon plate. Beautiful sliced and served with crusty bread. Nice wheat beer as well Not touristy but close to everything well worth a trip.
