Though I haven’t written reviews, I felt compelled to write this one to highly recommend this place. We have felt welcomed and valued as customers from the very first time we dined at Le Petit Banville. It is a small, family-owned, and managed restaurant with excellent food and service. There are quite a few menu options without straying from a core French menu. The food is delicious. If you are looking for the French bistro experience, this place is authentic. Because dishes are made in-house, each time it really feels like having a home cooked meal. It’s perfect for couples wanting a cozy, intimate setting. It’s not fancy, but it is warm and real. Families with younger kids rest easy. They are family-friendly, with kid-friendly options. Getting there is easy also. It is just a short walk from metro lines and from Parc Monceau. It’s worth it.

What a lovely restaurant. Linda was our server, she is a gem and worth her weight in gold. She did a wonderful job dealing with our loud family of obnoxious Americans, she made excellent recommendations, and got all our orders perfect. Ask her what to order and then listen to her- she knows her stuff. The chicken risotto is delicious!

Lovely small French restaurant with a homely feel. Had the butcher's cut (Morceau du boucher) with white wine. The beef steak was grilled and meat rare as I ordered. Came with a small salad and fries. Overall, the serving was small but suited my evening appetite. Enjoyed the cripsy fries very much. The steak was average. The cheese sauce helped lift the taste. The white wine recommended was nicely chilled. Good service and affordable meal.
