A beautiful place! The furniture is Starck-designed, creating a modern and timeless ambiance. The hairdresser is a professional stylist: everything is done with scissors, taking the necessary time. All without fuss or fuss. For a local hairdresser, he's a gem. I've been entrusting my hair to him without hesitation for almost two years. And I'm delighted!
I went to the salon last week. I'm very disappointed with the haircut because it's a complete disaster; one side is completely different from the other. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. He didn't listen at all and didn't do what I wanted. My fade on the sides is a catastrophe. I absolutely do not recommend this salon.
A very good hairdresser, very friendly, the decor is superb. In any case, it was very pleasant.
The worst hairdresser of my life. I have wavy hair, and he clearly wasn't used to it. I asked for a blow-dry with the waves slicked outwards, and he gave me a messy, unruly style. He couldn't even hold the brush properly, burned my scalp, and to top it all off, because I had to touch up my roots myself, he wasn't capable of doing it. He told me that if I knew how to do a blow-dry, I shouldn't have come in, and that he had 50 years of experience and that nothing could be taught to him. The reception and customer service were appalling. I still paid β¬32, and I should mention that I have short hair. And he kicked me out because I wanted to finish my blow-dry myself. He even pulled my hair when I took the brush. It's utter nonsense. Younger people should take over, please. At his age, he shouldn't be working anymore.
A small neighborhood hair salon that could use a refresh, as the furniture is rather antiquated. Let's just say that if you were expecting a relaxing haircut, you'd be better off looking elsewhere, as the shampoo station seats are torture for your back, neck, etc. Otherwise, the two hairdressers are experienced. On that point, there's nothing to complain about; they know how to use scissors and a brush. However, the salon's operations are far from honest. The hair dyes they use are generic, low-end products; a tube costs around β¬3.50, while they charge you around β¬40 for a dye job. Sure, there's the labor involved, but still... at no point, of course, are you told that this is the product that will be applied. I discovered this by chance while looking at their rather sparse shelf where they prepare the dye. I was quite shocked. There were a few tubes of Goldwell brand hair dye (which I hadn't heard of before), but not many! There was even a box of hair dye you'd find in the supermarket aisle. Honestly, it's awful! They could at least be honest enough to say where the product they're going to put on your hair comes from...it completely put me off and I don't think I'll be going back...or maybe I'll just stick to a haircut! It's a real shame...
