Loved it so much we went back a second time during our 3 day stay in February. Sebastian was our waiter both times and he was absolutely amazing. We were a table of 6 one night and 8 another night, arrived before 6 pm and got a table without a reservation. It got busier after 7 pm, so may need a reservation then.
The service was kind, the food (onion soup, pasta, lamb) excellent! We loved to be guest. Prereservation of a table is highly recommended. Our service man deserve an extra 5*
One of my favorite French restaurants in Paris, and definitely the best on Rue Montorgeuil. I first came here some years ago and had the slow cooked lamb. I never forgot it so I came back in December with a friend visiting town. The lamb was just as I remembered and the service and staff really elevated the experience. Paul will make sure everything runs smoothly and take care of you. Each of the servers has a smile and a good sense of humor. Johnny behind the bar makes some fantastic cocktails. The hospitality here are really unmatched (rare in Paris!)
Loved our experience at Le Compas. Comfortably sat 4 adults & 4 children around a gorgeous table for dinner. Service is exceptional. Follow staff recommendations/ they know their stuff.
Awesome food! The duck confit is amazingly perfumed with the duck fat. One of the best I’ve tasted. We also soaked the duck fat with the underside of the bread skin. Beef bourg could be more tender, but the sauce was excellent. The wine flavour was prominent, unlike others.
