Coffee, cakes & light meals in a cozy cafe with quirky retro decor, also home to numerous cats....
Fantastic experience! A little wait on the entrance but it's expected as the place is usually full. Excellent staff, they are very warm and give you some basic rules to ensure a safe experience with the "owners" of the place. Extra kudos to Domino who stayed with us and played all the time (hint: get a cardboard box close to your table ;) )
I went with my three kids, and they insisted that I had to order four separate things for the four people on the table. I really wanted to just order a coffee and my kids had already eaten and they just wanted to see the cats. All of their food is extremely overpriced and of mediocre quality. The coffee was literally just an espresso shot. We were kind of forced to order a hot chocolate and a cookie, and they were super disappointing. They even just gave me the cookie wrapped in aluminum foil like my mom does for school lunches! It seems kind of like an Instagram trend to come here, would rather just go to an animal shelter next time.
This is a cat cafΓ©, home to many adorable little cats. You can enjoy your coffee while petting the cats, as they have friendly personalities, are easy to get along with, and enjoy interacting with people. The food and drinks are decent, though most visitors definitely come for the cats. With its nostalgic atmosphere and these lovely cats, itβs truly a pleasant place that relaxes both body and mindβwell worth a visit.
We visited during an anniversary celebration. The food was surprisingly good, as we thought we were only coming for a small treat, but ended up with a very full menu that peaked our interest. Special mention to the coffee with Chantilly on top. We had a great time walking around looking at the kitty cats and feeling them rub around our legs when they were strolling by. Highly recommended though a bit expensive. Wait is long, but worth it.
My friend and I are in Paris for a day and we were very surprised that we were able to walk in without a booking. We only had drinks, a Paris cola and a hot chocolate with cream and a biscoff biscuit was β¬12.50, but in the city centre so I don't think it's egregious. The server was so sweet, I didn't catch her name but she was super friendly and even spoke to us in English (we're learning french but not fluent!) The cats were beautiful, all rescues, all really soft. I would die for Percival β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Atmosphere is great, quite quiet, peaceful. Cool decor, very happy, would definitely come again :)
