Le Café de l'Atelier des lumières

Delicious. Amazing staff, helpful and smiling. I highly recommend it for a little gourmet break after recharging culturally at the workshop.

Unsatisfactory experience. Yesterday, we wanted to have a snack after our visit to the Atelier des Lumières. So we went across the street. The staff was not at all welcoming and rather unpleasant. No one said hello. They didn't smile. We had to guess what pastries were left because no one bothered to tell us. We felt like we were bothering them, or worse, begging. When we arrived and went to sit down, the waiter curtly interrupted us, saying, "Well, you have to pay first." Excuse us, we'll guess. In my opinion, the tone and manner vary from one customer to another. After paying, I saw a sign indicating a discount for Atelier des Lumières tickets. I discussed it with the waiter, and his response was, "Well, it's a bit too late." Well, actually, it's your job to present your pastries and also to tell us about the discounts. Again, we're not going to guess. And if we don't see the sign, you have to let us know. As a result, I didn't even get to enjoy my relaxing moment. I didn't even finish my hot chocolate and I only got half my cake to go. In short, it was truly awful. Next time, I'll give my money to people who are competent and have a sense of customer service. You should consider changing careers or student jobs if your job is a chore.

I just left the Atelier des Lumières and came across this absolutely delicious little cafe. I recommend it and approve! Very friendly service! Thank you.
