Very nice place, we had dessert and it was fantastic Lemon pie The creppe and the hot wine nice! The coffee is also great and the people that worked there are very nice ! We had a great time
My go to bistrot every time I am in Paris. Great food, amazing service and a warm, patient, unhurried welcome from every member of the team. A gem in a ‘real’ neighbourhood away from the big crowds. A real pleasure.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Totally blown away by this little gem of a café/bar in the 19th! We’re staying across the road at the Ibis and were welcomed straight away by Lukas, who made us feel right at home. His service and recommendations have been fantastic, and thanks to him we’ve ended up coming back every day. The vibe is great, perfect for people watching, relaxing with a drink, or just enjoying the atmosphere with attentive staff who really care. Love this place and can’t recommend it enough to anyone in the area or nearby
The service was attentive and the food and drinks were served quickly after ordering. I had the crispy chicken salad (delicious house made chicken with nice crumbing) which had a nice tangy salad dressing. My son had crepes with Nutella and he loved it. Along with an Aperol spritz the bill was €33 which I think is reasonable in the area. We inside looking out - but I think an outdoor seat in the shade would be better if you can find one in the shade! Free tap water served upon seating was nice as many resturant don’t provide tap water and make you pay a lot for bottled water!
It was one of the places, I will definitely come back to if I ever go again in Paris. We were in a rush and confused that lots of cafès don’t let us in. But since the enter the atmosphere just blew my mind. Actually, the people around were also so bohemian. Now about food..I actually tried lots of French dishes, but never like that. Maybe because I wasn’t expecting but it was so delicious, delicate flavors. I had chicken and purée and they made the truffle sauce not like I ever tried before (even ib Italy) , the smell consistency …can talk forever. Also we had meat with fries, sea salt melting in my mouth with perfect cooked meat. The mustard sauce was just blow-minding. Plus of all the size of the dishes were proprietary for having lunch.
