Absolutely nothing to criticize about the food; I thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert, with perfectly balanced and beautifully presented dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive. The setting is magnificent, and I also appreciated the lovely table service. The only drawback that would make me hesitate to return is the price, which I consider too high despite all these excellent qualities. Or perhaps I'll try the gourmet restaurant Les Oliviers...
Overall it was a good experience, although we felt to be rather experience for what it was. But I am giving 1 less star for the shock I had of eating an octopus "hot dog". On the menu it was written: "Octopus Roll & frites fraîches- tentacule de poulpe et legumes croquants sauce aïoli". The waiter warned me it was a sandwich, a little roll, I took it as maybe it would be wrap and decided to give it a try. But in reality it was no wrap, and not sure where the sauce aïoli was because the octopus tentacle came on a long bun covered in ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard. Truly tasted like a hot dog. Given the condiments the octopus actually even tasted like sausage. It was an interesting experience but please update the description to be more accurate to not disappoint your guests. Where was the aïoli, which is what I'd expect in an octopus dish? If there was any, it was 100% covered by the ketchup, mayo and mustard trio.
Lovely experience ❤️
Amazing food and view, but we were super surprised to see a $12 uncorking fee for buying a bottle at the restaurant (we did not bring an outside bottle). I have never seen this in France and I did not see this on the menu.
Excellent!!
