We thought this place was great for an easy and tasty lunch one Sunday afternoon in Paris. It felt like quite a local place. The man at the bar was chatting with customers sitting around it. There were families with their children, couples, a mother and son. The tele had the Winter Olympics on (normally I wouldnβt think the tele being on a positive, but somehow it gelled the place). The food was classic, French fare well executed and with generous portion sizes. The waiter was lively and friendly and we felt very much a part of the conviviality of the place. When the bill came it was eminently reasonable. A really lucky find
A great lunch spot for a simple, affordable meal with great, friendly service. We had the Croque Monsieur - generous portion and tasty. Highly recommend if you want to avoid the crowded Instagram spots. We were also treated to almond cognac and petit fours π
We sat at the cafΓ© of the bakery: the croissant and cappuccino the friendly man who served us was welcoming.
A nice little local bistro. Service was very good. Smiling waiter (I think he was the owner) with good service. Cosy bistro interior. Locals were eating here. Food was good, compared to the prices it was fair. Can recommend.
We came here for coffee whilst we were supporting friends doing the Paris Marathon. Service was relaxed, friendly and swift. I asked about a dessert menu and the waiter brought a tray of patisserie over for me to choose from, irresistible!
