He refused to serve me while the space was absolutely empty! Without any evident reason - I was not rude or anything. I just asked if you can seat to send my e-email while there’s a queue to order at comptoir (the whole thing was EMPTY!). I’ve been told at the coffee shop nearby that he has a reputation of a very rude person who’s taking his revenge by refusing good looking people at his place. So if you don’t want to have your mood spoiled better avoir this place! Better try coffee shop Panase nearby - excellent coffee, friendly atmosphere and excellent service! 👌🏻

Yes the coffee is good but tiny and expensive. The issue with this place is the service. It completely ruins the atmosphere. The place is beautifully designed, but the barista is nervous and edgy so you feel like you can’t be at ease. There are nicer places to drink good coffee without feeling like an elephant in a museum.

The setup is gorgeous but the waiter or owner whoever he is, is so rude and makes you feel like you’re dumb and stupid for asking for recommendations. We asked for recommendations and the man has an attitude like he’s forced to be there to serve you. His attitude is very very rude and uncalled for.

Amazing experience! The owner was super kind with us. He took his time to prepare the coffee and it was delicious! My son had a filtered coffee(one of a kind) and I had a “crème”! The chocolate cookie was super tasty (he made them himself). The ambience is super cozy and the details are worth a view!! I read a cute book to practice my French! It is a must go!!

come with an open mind. it might be a quirky experience, but the coffee was sublime. everything about this place is filled with personality and the craft is mesmerizing. one of my best, certainly the most authentic, experiences in paris. highly recommend for coffee lovers
