A lively neighbourhood spot with a genuinely relaxed Italian feel. The coffee is properly done and the food is simple, hearty and satisfying, particularly for brunch or a casual lunch. There’s a pleasant buzz about the place without it feeling overwhelming. Service is friendly and efficient, though it can slow slightly during busier periods. Overall, a dependable choice if you’re after decent Italian fare and a good atmosphere without any fuss.
I had a great experience at this restaurant last night ! A new young waiter named Nassim served us and he was very kind, polite, and attentive. Even though he is new, he did an excellent job and made us feel very welcome. The service was warm and professional — thank you Nassim!
We had a nice Le Country Burger and a delicious generous salad Jardinere. The service was top, very friendly lady who was servicing us. Recommend this restaurant and also in the center of Paris.
Had a great dining experience. Our servers were excellent, they were the best. Our meal was delicious. We had the tomato mozzarella basil appetizer, pasta with basil and chicken, pasta arabiata, pasta bolognese and pave de salmon.
Visited here on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March for dinner, whilst visiting Paris for the Half Marathon. Lovely little place which seems very popular with locals and visitors alike. Saturday I had the pasta carbonara, which was more than adequate, and a lovely taste. The egg on top was a new one on me, but gave it a nice twist to the flavour. My wife had the burger and chips, which she said was one if the tastiest burgers she's ever had!! Hot chocolate was very chocolatey, and the cappuccino was, well, a cappuccino lol. Sunday (after the run) we walked around trying to find somewhere with a table but struggled and ended up back in here. Wife had the escargot for starter (bit tricky but nicely presented and good taste), and I had the goat's cheese on honey toast. Gorgeous! For main course I had the burger, and although I forgot to ask for it well done (yes I know, I'm a heathen), it was still very nice, with burger sauce, red onions and "fromage fondu" - creamy cheese sauce, and was probably tastier than if I'd had it cremated lol. I had a pint of Goudale IPA, and the wife had a double Malibu and coke (just remember their single measures are 40ml not 25ml as in the UK!). Service was adequate, and they humoured me with my mid-ability attempts at speaking French lol. Overall a lovely restaurant, although extremely busy on the Saturday (we were squashed into a tiny corner, but were still not overly uncomfortable) service quick and unpressured, and very reasonable for Paris. We would definitely return here, and recommend this place highly - if you can get a table lol.
