Weekday mornings are the quietest
We went here every morning of our Paris trip. Fika has a really cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and great coffees/breakfast options. Bonus points for being right next to a dog park
A little slice of Sweden in the heart of Le Marais. Cozy and charming spot tucked inside the courtyard of the Swedish Institute. It can be tough to find a table in the courtyard during peak hours, but totally worth it, especially for the gâteau courgette!
Fika has better (expresso-based) coffee than most cafés in Paris and a nice selection of pastries you won't find elsewhere. I advanced ordered a whole Princess Cake recently to take home and it was a beauty. It's very rich and creamy - not for the faint-hearted. The in-café version is more of a log/bûche form.
FIKA is a good place to stop in Marais district. Was crowded. Staff is busy with many customers. There is a space to seat outside which is nice and a little semi closed from the road. Nothing special, maybe some Scandinavian vibe. But it’s good 👍
Truly a gem! I’m very happy I stumbled upon this cute coffee shop directly across from the dog garden. The drinks are great, and the princess cake was so good I came back for more the next day. The location and atmosphere is very welcoming, quiet, quaint, and hip.
