Dupont Café

We sat down for dinner, the atmosphere was pleasant, the service was friendly and polite. Everything changed when we saw two mice running under our feet. When we told them why we were leaving, they weren't surprised at all.

This cafe could be a lovely place for a quick rest, drink and a bite to eat. However, being charged double to what we expected, due to a VERY misleading menu, completely ruined our experience. We ordered the côte de bœuf and the menu said in brackets it was for two people, however the price (not specified wasn’t for the whole thing) was only half. We asked for it medium although came basically blue. However, I understand a large cut of meat to be cooked all the way through is very difficult. We sent it back, and it came medium. It had a great flavour and the sides were decent, although 45% of it was pure fat and not a lot was edible. We are people who almost never complain, but being charged over €90 for one course and one soft drink is ridiculous. Fair enough, we are partly to blame for not asking for clarification to start with when we ordered but the menu is VERY misleading. Afterwards, we were given free desserts but no money back and not even a soft drink. The waitresses we couldn’t fault, very friendly and helpful, but we advise to very carefully read the menu and ask for clarification if you were to visit. Such a shame, as this could have been a lovely visit.

I love this place. Servers: always so nice/easy-going. The music/playlist: top. Atmosphere : movement around but space between tables. Mix of ages. Great terrace for apero. Food is actually decent. We come here all the time; it’s our local. 🫶🏼✨

Such a nice spot right outside our Airbnb! DuPont Café had great options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and our server was incredibly kind. Really delicious drinks! We visited once for dinner and a second time for brunch.

We tried Dupont Café Convention two days ago and really enjoyed it! The café offers both indoor seating and a beautiful outdoor terrace. We tried the Burger Mon Poulet, it was excellent! The chicken was juicy, the cheese was delicious, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. We also had the Croque Madame, which was super tasty, and the Avocado Burger with avocado cream, a great mix of flavors and definitely worth trying. The service was good too. Overall, a great spot for a casual and flavorful meal!
