Dido Cafe

It was life-saving for us. Good location, very close to the train station, valuable prices and lovely staff. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing thanks for the music. It’s a nice and calming place when you are exhausted because of traveling and really keen to have a quick lunch. Thank you!

Me and my 7 month pregnant wife were in Paris for travelling. And she started feeling really sick and her vision was blinding at some point of our travel. And we happen to be near to this place. She just used the chair to say for a while and use the washroom. I would’ve ordered something but my brain wasn’t working too. As I was as in panic mode. Trying to find a car to take her to a safe place. And the waiter there came to take order and I told her that my pregnant wife is feeling really sick can we do it later and maybe we won’t order. And she started behaving rude to us and shouting at us that we used the washroom and didn’t order and yadayadayada. And I said bring me anything or just bring me the machine to pay whatever I DONT CARE! This incident will leave a bad mark in my heart for this stupid restaurant and Paris which we both were enjoying very much until this moment! SHAME ON YOU ALL! Shame! Shame shame! I hope you understand what parenthood is!

The food options were great and the drinks and food were very good priced. I would definitely revisit.👍

I was informed that this toilet is explicitly only for women. Men have to use the urinal. It is also locked, so you have to argue why you need it. (Or just play dumb/ignorant like I did) 1. I don't think anyone wants men to go number two on the urinal (which I will do next time). 2. Nobody wants men to inform the waitress they need to go number two. 3. This is terrible for transmen.
