Dame Augustine

I had a lovely time at Dame Augustine with an expectation of fresh take on contemporary dining. I wasn't disappointed. I had a three course with an appetizer. The trout gravlax had deep and rich flavor, but the thing that stood out the most was the combination of various lipids as the foundation that brought out the sweet and crispiness (as a flavor) of the lettuce to be the hidden champion of the starter. The main of seared scallops was very fresh and brought out the essence hidden within the charred surface, only to be softened by the sauce. I would definitely recommend the poached pear in hibiscus, with mousse sprinkled with bits of hibiscus that only adds to the flavor with each scoop. Pecan bits and toasted oats adds text to the otherwise smooth experience. Would recommend.

Went last night to try this place with a friend. some of the comments: "l'oeuf parfait was delicious" "the sweet onion pickle on the hummus made it pop". The prices were not bad at all considering the quality and technique of the food/dishes. The staff was precise, kind and timely. There was no pressure whatsoever to order (and we got distracted many times with our discussions). I spoke to 4 friends the day after about the entire experience and the quality of the food.

This was a great little spot. The food was so nice and the server was so attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and it was a great price for the amount of food you received. You could tell the whole menu was well thought out, which made the experience that must nicer. Definitely a great date night spot.

Absolutely incredible food and service! This charming little restaurant serves modern, fusion-style French cuisine with a lunch menu that changes every month, all at a very reasonable price. I loved everything about it and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Paris.

Excellent experience!!! We tried their lunch menu, €35 for 3temps, really good price for such a fine dining restaurant. Every dish is just amazing, from presentation to its flavor combination, from seasonal food material and its creation. The service is great. The dining environment is elegant and quiet, with tasteful design. Definitely would go back there to try their dinner menu!!!!!!
