Crepes, galettes & sandwiches with upmarket ingredients served in a well-known shop....
Great sandwiches, one of the best I’ve had, really quick service and friendly staff. We arrived just before closing (4.30pm) so we ordered to then take away. They were only taking cash, not sure if it was due to technical errors or because it was the end of the day, so be prepared with some cash potentially
C’est bon! I saw this online as it seemed popular. I got there relatively early and the queue was already quite large - I waited 30 minutes to get let in and well, it was worth it. The sandwiches are really good and completely full of ingredients, exactly as advertised. The draw back was the fact that it was so busy behind me, the line had doubled and was at least an hour long. It might not be worth going if that’s the case, really. As good as the sandwiches were, it wasn’t the best in Paris. That’s my opinion and feel free to disagree. The staff was really quite nice and they have a really good selection of artisan French beers. I enjoyed that with my sandwich on the kerb watching the sorry travellers who had one hour’s day to kill. I recommend but be warned.
Chez Alain Miam Miam is probably the first place where I’ve ever ordered a sandwich and finished the whole thing without getting bored halfway. This was my first time trying a sandwich that actually felt full of flavor—especially from the meat and cheese. What I love is how customizable it is. You choose your own fillings, and they’ll even let you taste the cheeses if you want. The bread is also perfect—soft, tasty, and not hard at all. Everything tasted fresh, from the veggies to the meat, and the cheese options are seriously good. The place was packed, which honestly made me love it even more. Expect long lines, especially during lunch hours—people literally queue outside. I came about half an hour before lunch time and still managed to get a seat, but don’t come here expecting a cozy café vibe. Seating is basic, and it’s not the kind of place you sit and chat for hours. People come for one reason: the sandwich. Verdict: insanely good sandwiches, worth the hype, and I’m 100% coming back the next time I’m in Paris.
I don’t know why there are one star reviews. They offer great range of sandwiches. And it’s basically build your own sandwich. I loved their cheese and their meat. We got our bread toasted and it tasted so fresh. The service is outstanding and the sandwich is totally worth the hype. They make you taste cheeses beforehand. Joint seating inside thou.
Loved the sandwich at this little shop with its hearty cheese, smokey tasting beef, and fresh veggies. The staff at the counter are patient and helpful. Below a vast menu of options they have several tables, but offer a discount for to go orders.
