Wonderful service and great choice

Excellent cheese selection and very good service. We were helped by a knowledgeable and friendly gentleman who directed us to some very good cheese adn meats. If you're in the Marais stop in and get some good cheese and meats to go with it.

We had a very pleasant and welcoming experience here. There is an excellent selection of cheeses and accoutrements, including some really good potato chips! Pop across the street to get some fresh fruit on the side and you've got a delicious picnic ready in no time. The server was knowledgeable and helped us pair our selections (and abided our poor French speaking:) I would highly recommend Jouannault relative to other fromageries in the nearby area.

We were walking around North Marais and looking for some cheese to go with our charcuterie and spotted this cheese shop. We walked in and decided to buy a small portion of 5 different cheeses. Wow is the only descriptive word I can think of.

My fridge in Paris STINKS thanks to the cheese from here...in the best way! I mean, I could live on bread and cheese for the rest of my days but I'm no connoisseur. However, this is my local cheese shop and even though the service is hit or miss, the cheese always hits! Not sure why it didn't get better reviews, but when I ask for stinky cheese, they oblige. I've also bought my butter from there and it is damn good.
