Wonderful!! delicious options great for brunch!
the food was good and for being paris 25€ for a salty, a sweet plate and 2 beverages is good
The location and decor was beautiful,I visited after seeing a rave review on tiktok. The first lady that served us was polite and guided us to ordering the €25 brunch (each) I thought it was too much food which was a main, sweet, cold drink and a hot drink. We ordered a breakfast each, my husband loved his chia bowl but I wasnt impressed by mine, it was a little plain, my hot chocolate was cold chocolate and the plate was so small it was awkward to cut on. I unfortunately didn't think it was anything special apart from the gorgeous decor. When I went to pay it was €36 for all, I gave the male server (who hadn't served us yet) €40 and even though I was planning to leave a tip ...... He didn't give me an option, he didn't bring any change back, which I thought was a little cheeky and based on the food quality I would have liked to choose my tip amount. I wouldnt say don't go...... But I have also been to better places this trip
Café du Temple was great! The lovely lady who served us was so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing. The burrata and the crispy crispy chicken were exquisite! You can tell they really care about flavor. The homemade iced tea was also a nice touch. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but still acceptable for the quality. The pancakes, not that great compared to everything else.
We stopped in for brunch at Café du Temple and the food was absolutely phenomenal! We ordered the Double Egg-Pancake (double pancake with fried egg, cheese sauce, and bacon), the French Toast Fruits (brioche with seasonal fruits and crème Fontainebleau), and the Pancake Nutella Banana — all visually stunning and even more delicious. The pancakes with Nutella were rich and satisfying, and the French toast was fresh and vibrant, almost too pretty to eat (almost). We also tried the Burrata Focaccia, which was my least favorite—more like a cold bruschetta with pesto and burrata, and it didn’t quite hit the mark compared to the rest of the meal. Service was a mixed bag. Our main waitress wasn’t particularly warm—she skipped the typical Parisian charm (“Bonjour!” and a smile) and jumped straight to “What do you want?” While that was a bit off-putting, the other staff members were incredibly kind and helpful, which balanced things out. Overall, if you’re in the area, this spot is worth it for the food alone—especially if you’re looking for a vibrant brunch plate that’s as beautiful as it is tasty. 🍳🥞🥓🥖☕ 10/10 for food, 6/10 for the greeting, 9/10 overall. Back again for brunch at Café du Temple—because when you find a gem, you go twice. Our server, Chenghao, was absolutely wonderful—so kind and attentive. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and made the whole experience even better. This time we tried: 🥑 Tartine à l’avocat Avocado toast with sunny-side-up eggs, pomegranate seeds, and chives, served with roasted potatoes and a side salad. It was fresh and pretty, but honestly… we probably wouldn’t order it again. 🥓 Crêpe salée au bacon et œufs Savory crepes topped with fried eggs, crispy bacon, and a melty cheese sauce, served with potatoes. Still our favorite—rich, satisfying, and perfectly cooked. 🥞 Pancakes aux noisettes et caramel Fluffy stacked pancakes with whipped cream, caramel sauce, hazelnut crumble, and a dusting of powdered sugar. These were divine—still the best dish on the table. 🍞 Pain perdu aux fruits frais French brioche toast topped with banana, kiwi, apple, strawberries, grapes, and a dollop of cream. Bright, colorful, and just the right amount of sweet. ☕️ Drinks included a mix of espresso, fresh juices, and matcha. Everything paired beautifully. Verdict: Pancakes and egg crepe? Still undefeated. Chenghao? 10/10. The avocado toast? Cute, but not a reorder. Either way—Café du Temple has officially earned a repeat spot on our Paris list. 🇫🇷🥂
