Typical French fare in a modern interior or on a terrace with views of the Arc de Triomphe....
Cosy spot for a coffee. We took the family here and they were happy to find us a table for a quick drink stop. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable to use. The hot chocolates were nice (not quite filled to the top though), the black tea with milk was nice and the frappe was good too. Staff were pleasant. Good atmosphere with people talking and background jazz music. Well lit.
Great place to stop for a quick lunch or drink whilst discovering the Champs Élysées. Very close to the Arc de Triomphe and a nice outdoor terrace when the weather suits.
I recently dined at Le Café de Paris Friedland, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. This restaurant, which I had high hopes for, turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences of my entire Euro trip across Italy and France. To begin with, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. When my drink arrived, I noticed that the glass had visible stains on it. This was the first red flag, as it made me question the overall hygiene standards of the restaurant. A clean dining environment is essential, and finding stains on the glass immediately placed me on high alert. Now, moving on to the food. I ordered the linguine saumon, expecting the rich flavors and textures typical of this dish. However, it was a total letdown. The pasta was poorly prepared, lacking the proper texture and consistency. It seemed overcooked and mushy, which is a major misstep for any establishment that prides itself on offering Italian cuisine. The seasoning was uneven; while some pieces of the pasta were overly salty, others were completely bland. This inconsistency in flavor made the dish almost inedible. In fact, it was one of the worst pasta dishes I've encountered during my travels in Europe. Additionally, the preparation of the salmon was appalling. It was clear that there had been a lack of attention to detail, resulting in unremoved fish bones that made the dining experience uncomfortable. I found myself wincing as a fish bone got lodged in my mouth, and that’s not a sensation anyone wants during a meal. Proper preparation of seafood is crucial, and this oversight was completely unacceptable. Despite my attempts to salvage the meal, I found myself unable to finish it. This was a first for me throughout my entire trip; I have always been willing to bear through a less-than-ideal dish, but in this case, I simply couldn’t take another bite. The combination of poor preparation, lack of flavor, and unpleasant textures made it more of a chore than a pleasure to eat. Overall, my meal at Le Café de Paris Friedland was the most unworthy dining experience of my entire journey. I regret choosing this restaurant and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal. With so many wonderful dining options available in Paris, I would strongly advise seeking out alternatives that respect the culinary traditions of both French and Italian cuisine. Save your time and money—do not dine here.
Nice and cozy restaurant. Friendly staff. Fast service. Great Menu food and drinks selections. Nice and quiet vibe. I recommend it to have a lunch or dinner with friends or family members. Enjoy your meal 😎.
Charming cafe near the Arc de Triumph. There’s an open outdoor space, and enclosed indoor space with large windows, and a deeper inside section. We had a light breakfast of croissants, plain omlette and coffee. Eggs were a bit overcooked but ok. Loved the view and right next to it was a nice souvenir shop with higher quality items than the ones down the Main Street.
