Café de l'Esplanade

The service at Café de l'Esplanade was great. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious. My family and I are from New York and came here for our first night in Paris. They did know we didn't speak French and spoke to us in English making our experience even better. Just make sure to say bonjour!

It was absolutely wonderful! The restaurant is expensive but the quality of the food, drinks, and atmosphere certainy amounts to what you're paying. We enjoyed phenomenal nems, mushrooms, and risotto for our appetizers. For dinner we enjoyed a vegan curry, chicken, and milanaise; all of which were simply scrumptous! The cocktails (old fashioned and whisky sour) were divine as well! The dim lighting, elegant tables, and dark green curtains contributes to a very romantic and elegant ambiance.

Beautiful establishment but the service was terrible. The tables also weren’t clean when we were sat. Took the waiter forever to even give us a menu. Food was above average but not worth the price.

I liked the restaurant very much! Beautiful interior, pleasant atmosphere and excellent service - everything is on a high level. All the dishes were amazing, I ordered steak - it was just delicious: perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. I will definitely come back and will gladly recommend it to my friends!
