Weekday mornings are the quietest
Truly loved our experience. We dined on Valentines evening. Very cosy atmosphere. Friendly waiter, and very attentive. Food was delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed the snails. Chicken with mustard sauce also delicious. We also loved yhe Caesar salad; crispy chicken coated in breadcrumb and the sauce and parmesan so fresh. The blue cheese burger was also a hit, and the cheese was strong and lots of flavour. I loved that the burger was pink but tender. Lovely visit for a weekend in Paris ❤️
Typical brassiery with somewhat standard menue. Food is ok.
Avoid at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. We stopped in here on a Sunday morning for a light lunch, and a older gentleman served us. The food was OK, but nothing great for the price (we had far better elsewhere for similar prices). What completely turned us off was when my wife paid for the meal (I was away from the table at the time), he asked her for a 9 Euro tip in cash for a couple of salads, equalling ~20% which was quite high. As it was our first meal out, she did pay, and it was only later that day when we looked at the receipt we noticed they had also added a 10% gratuity to the visa bill. Completely disgusted, and another example of Parisien restaruants taking advantage of tourists.
Cozy cafe with perfect and amazing location. The food was good. The staff were very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and cozy.
This restaurant was a disappointing and degrading last meal for our trip to Paris. The good about this place: not many restaurants are open on a Sunday evening and this one was. The fries with our meal were good as well as the wine. The BAD: my wife’s steak was undercooked. She ordered medium and received rare. The worst part about our experience was my burger. I ordered a bleu burger and received a cheese burger (American cheese.) I didn’t take a single bite and returned my cut-in-half burger once I noticed the issue. About ten minutes later the waitress brings my burger back, and it’s cut in half. I was expecting a new burger and took a look under the bun to find my same cheeseburger that was only smothered with additional bleu cheese (see picture.) I couldn’t believe the audacity of a place to re-serve an incorrectly prepared food item that had the missing component put on top the wrong components - and then charge for it. No, I’m not one of those customers that tries to make excuses and complain to get a free meal. I paid my bill as presented, without making a scene, but simply couldn’t believe what I had just experienced. My recommendation is to stay away from this place and go somewhere else. During our 4 day stay in Paris this was the only problem we had, every other place and outing was between good and incredible.
