Aux Ministères

I don’t speak French and am here for work staying at a hotel nearby. I came jet lagged at 7am asking for coffee and breakfast and was helped right away. No menu needed the waiter came over to me and said “American coffee and croissant” and I said yes please! 15 hours later, after one of the most tiring and stressful work days ever I came back 5 min before the kitchen closed, starving. I got some light jeering for speaking English too fast but was quickly served pasta and beer and made to feel at home. The staff and food are great. They are nice to visitors and flexible with your requests. I felt bad for my lack of communication skills but was still able to have a great meal. Very thankful and hope to visit again sometime.

Don’t come if you’re a tourist. We were just yelled at by a waiter who got upset because we were taking pictures and said, “Don’t take photos here! This is not Instagram.” We had been ordering and consuming food, we were actually about to leave. The younger waiters were very kind, but this one person completely ruined the whole experience.

One of Paris’s most under rated restobars next to Unesco. The place gives you warmth and the touch of care with the Parisians!

Nice little bar that serves coffee and a treat or a meal. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and a cappuccino, hot chocolate and a croissant. They were all out of pastries and chocolate croissants when we arrived at 10:15am. Would come back for a coffee! Very laid back vibe.

I had lunch here a few weeks ago, the service was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious pate to start, followed by succulent burger and chips. Good selection of wines. Next time in Paris I'll be back to try something else.
