Fixed-price menus of scallops, beef tartare & burgers in a cozy space with art nouveau flourishes....
We found a beautiful hidden gem in the "libanese quarter" just near the Pantheon. The restaurant is small and cozy, it gives a nice vibe of the old times when these kind of bistros would be home to the famous painters and artists of the early 90's. The service was super caring, the waiter was super nice. The gods was super good too, we even managed to reserve a table for the new year eve! A nice glass of red wine, duck confit and a beaf fillet with baked potatos. Give it a try and you won't regret it.
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Nice French food in a traditional spot π«π·β¨ Not very expensive for the quality! We tried the boeuf bourguignon (the classic French beef stew) and the duck β both were very tasty ππ·. Lovely staff, very welcoming, and they even speak English! π Definitely recommend if you want an authentic French experience without breaking the bank.
Cozy, unassuming place with a nice atmosphere and amazing food. Ordered the duck leg, scallop linguini, and roasted chicken breast. Absolutely delicious, meats were tender and scallops were so good. So impressed! We made an early reservation but it was not needed.
Cozy restaurant with delicious food. We had dinner reservations for two and were promptly seated at 7pm. Service was great! We were able to sit by the window so there was a good opportunity to people watch while we waited on our food.
A small yet cozy bistro with a rustic feel. We started with Viennese coffee(coffee with whipped cream on top) and scallop risotto. I had never had such a well-cooked scallop before. For our main dishes we had cassoulet and steak with fries and salad. The cassoulet was something new but it didn't disappoint. The steak was a bit on the rarer side(I had asked for medium rare) but it was okay. The sauce that came with it was very good. The apple pie was unlike any I've had before but definitely the best. Recommend getting the meal set as it is worth the price. I also recommend the Viennese coffee. The bathroom is quite dark and a bit cramped.
