We couldn't wait for the place we originally wanted so we tried this without looking at the reviews. So glad and grateful we did. This place is quite special. The people were super kind and communicative. Saturday brunch was brilliant. We sat upstairs in a special nook. The biscuit with jam and ricotta was magical. I had the Chilaquiles verde con pollo and all the things (cilantro etc) with an egg on top. My novio loved his coffee and he very particular. My friend had the Chilaquiles rojo, frijoles, and egg...she doesn't usually finish her food but today she did. The Novio enjoyed his food thoroughly as well (i can't remember exactly what it was). Check out the photos. Note Orange juice was authetic. The lemonade with ginger did need some sugar (they used the peel- very good for your system). Oh and we were seranated with blues, classical music and vibes. ANNNND Our Serve Manuel was kind, gave good recommendations and was patient with our confusions (sooo many options) Ok, I highly recommend and will definitely be returning when we visit CDMX in the future
We enjoyed a selection of pastries and a couple of well-prepared vegetarian dishes. The service was attentive, perhaps a bit too attentive at times.
Macque Condesa was the perfect breakfast spot. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and well-seasoned, paired perfectly with refried beans and chilaquiles topped with melted cheese. Simple dishes done really well. The empanadas were excellent — golden, flaky on the outside and packed with flavorful filling. You can tell they’re made fresh and not rushed. The space is bright, clean, and relaxed with that classic Condesa vibe. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying breakfast or brunch — I’d happily come back again.
A lovely brunch spot. We came with a party of four for Saturday brunch. Only had to wait 10 minutes. Everyone loved their omelets. Coffee wasn’t the best but their fresh orange, carrot and green juices were delicious as was the fresh fruit.
We visited Maque on a weekday mid afternoon. We sat outside and enjoyed a pastry and an írlandes. Both were good. Service was good too. Atmosphere very similar to other area cafes. Prices a bit in the pricey side. Probably the best part of our visit was a street singer that sang from the corner's edge for all diners to hear. He was real good.
