Great selection of hot chocolates and some homemade baked goods. I went with the amargo strength chocolate (70%) and milk and it was very smooth and creamy. Lots of combination available including spicy and honey etc. also available in sweet (30%) and semi-bitter (50%). About 5 different bar’s to try and powder for take home hot chocolate. I also had the brownie (called Momoso y Troncho) and was very rich and not too sweet. A little dry and crumbly but I liked it. All tasted great!
Great little spot. I tried the semi-bitter and the fermented chocolate. Both were excellent. Real cacao flavor, nothing fake, and they source their beans from families in southeast Mexico, which you can taste in the depth of the drink. The place has an easy vibe, and they had metal playing when I walked in, which made the whole thing even better 🤘 If you’re in the area, stop in and try something. It’s worth it.
Stopped by La Rifa for hot chocolate and loved it. I had the Amargo 70% Cacao with chile, and my son tried the Semi-Amargo 50% with leche — both rich, a little intense, and absolutely delicious. We even grabbed a chocolate cake to go. The place is small but cozy, and the psychedelic trance music gave it a unique vibe that somehow just works. Definitely a cool spot to visit if you’re into real, high-quality cacao. 🍫
Cute chocolate shop in Juárez. They have lots of different preparations of drinking chocolate as well as coffees and bars/merch to take with. I enjoyed my cafe de olla with chocolate
Great spot for real Mexican cacao near the Chocolate Museum. The fermented 70% cacao latte was delicious — rich, smooth, and not too sweet. They also offer some more adventurous flavors that locals seem to love, though not every drink is for every palate. Cozy vibe and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy craft chocolate.
