We are new to CDMX and thought the chocolate churros combo would include a thick, rich cup of chocolate to dip the perfectly cooked churros in like we experienced in Seville. Instead we got slightly overcooked churros with a cup of just okay but kind of watery hot chocolate to drink. Disappointing experience. At least it wasn’t that expensive.
A must stop when in CDMX. I usually go to the centro one as it is open 24 h but this one is closed to my hotel. I picked up 4 dozens to bring home. I freeze it when I get home and air fry before enjoying. They are soooo good esp with matching thick Spanish chocolate drink ( available at their store/restautant). At this location, Samantha was very nice to help me with my purchase and she packed it well!
Excellent churros, lots of dining space upstairs and friendly people who work there. We got four churros with three sauces - note that four churros are enough to feed a family, they’re huge 😅😅
they say churros are famous here in Mexico as well, so i gave it a try! Unexpectedly, it is crispy on the outside and soft inside! classic is the way to go! ice cream churros were normal, ice cream were not fanstastic ; just the normal supermarket taste.
We needed to have some good churros and this place didn’t disappoint! You can have multiple dips and they’re not pricey. There were 3 of us and we over ordered with the 12 churros. I didn’t realize they’d be this big. If you go upstairs you can people watch while eating and sipping. Wish they had more tables to accommodate that experience because they were full when we got there.
