Went here hoping for some great seafood. While the service and atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, unfortunately my fish was not seasoned with salt at all and was rather dry. So the dish was quite underwhelming. However, the consume and the ceviche were really good.
Served with warm seafood soup that taste fresh. Marinera has lots of fresh seafood such as octopus, clams and prawns. Fish fillet is likely dory fish which was okay.
This was the first place I tried in Mexico City, and it definitely did not let me down! The menu was massive with tons of seafood options. They kicked things off with a special seafood soup that had just the right umami kick. The seafood cocktail was the star for me, so tangy and delicious! I also tried the octopus tacos, which were a game-changer; the octopus was crispy and so tender, not chewy at all. The staff were super friendly, taking the time to explain the menu in English and making sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Excellent seafood at a reasonable price. Service was great. Campechano Cocktail (combined cocktail shrimp with octopus was tasty and fresh) My shrimp al ajillo (garlic shrimp) was awesome. Recommended.
Spectacular flavors and textures, it starts with very carefully chosen extra fresh fish. The Robalo a la Talla has a great chile sauce on top with the perfect balance of spicy, citric and smoked flavours. And dessert: flameé figs, a great visual, aromatic and flavorful seal to a great dinner.
