Boicot Café (Metropoli Patriotismo)

The coffee is great, it's served quickly, and you can drink it there. Even though it's an island in the plaza, it's not inconvenient to have your drinks and food there. They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of options. Plus, they prepare your food fresh, and it's hygienic.

I really like their drinks and some of the dishes on the menu. The price is a little high, and I understand that for a meal or a drink, but... 79 pesos for a Nutella braid!?!? Good heavens! I'd rather just buy the tub of Nutella, hahaha. Other than that, the food is delicious and the portions are adequate. Avoid buying bread, because it's almost like buying from Starbucks. Overall, I haven't had any problems with the staff.

Everything was delicious, and the service was quick and good. I ordered a Chapada Trio, Los Panchos, and a Matcha with Horchata.

The coffee may be good, but dealing with the staff puts you off coming back. Today, December 23, 2022, I went for an espresso with the full intention of having a good night, only to end up feeling like I was the one who made a mistake with my order. The redhead working that day got upset when I asked her to repeat her selection of cookies. The person making the coffees behind her knew nothing about the product. I never knew what an espresso martini was, without having to see that it was one of the less than 20,000 items they have, and they don't sell half of the items either. Now that I think about it, if they don't sell half the products that other places do, it's because of the people who work with them, who don't make me want to come back or recommend the place.

Lattes, cappuccinos, frappes, cold brew, matcha, braided pastries—everything is delicious. I highly recommend the Turkish coffee; it will really wake you up and keep you energized all day. A good coffee shop in the plaza was long overdue.
