Weekday mornings are the quietest
One of our favorite coffee shops that we visited in Medellín! We came here twice because we loved it so much. All of the drinks we had were delicious and we especially loved the Cheesecake de Maracúya! Service was exceptionally friendly as well. A nice place to sit on a quieter side street off the main drag in Laureles.
Took me 20 minutes to walk from my Airbnb and it was absolutely worth it. The coffee was great the iced Americano was amazing. Staff were very nice, the space is beautiful and super relaxing, especially upstairs where there’s lots of room to sit. Free WiFi too. Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious cafe and the cheese cake of the day was outstanding. Definitely recommend. A must.
The Café has a coworking antisocial vibe. It's not the most cozy. The Cappuccino is fine, It's very milky which I don't like. I got the local Cake with cheese which I liked. Prices are fair and the service is nice.
We came here to have coffee and do some work on our laptops. Very quickly, a waitress approached us and told us that this place is NOT a coworking space. I explained that my boyfriend was just ordering coffee for us. She spoke very fast Spanish, did not speak English well, and seemed irritated, then walked away. When my boyfriend came back, she told him the same thing again. He said that he had already read the information downstairs and that it was fine for us — we would of course respect the rules — but she continued explaining it anyway. When the coffee arrived, my boyfriend’s coffee was served in a paper cup, and the water came without glasses. I had to explicitly ask to receive glasses instead of drinking from the bottle. I fully understand if this café is not intended as a coworking space. However, many other guests were sitting with laptops, and it felt like we were the only ones being corrected — and in an unfriendly way, without a smile or any warmth. That seemed rude. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day, but since other reviews also mention unfriendly service, this seems to be a recurring issue. Because of that, we will not return. It’s okay that there are rules such as ordering something every hour or paying to stay longer if you want to work on the laptop, but good service still matters if guests are to feel welcome. In short: nice coffee, but don’t come here with a laptop.
