I have visited Brindis several times for karaoke, and unfortunately, the experience has never been positive β neither for me nor for my friends. What happened today, however, confirmed that this is not an isolated incident, but a management issue. As soon as I entered the venue, I headed straight to the restroom because I urgently needed to use it. Before I could even proceed, two staff members β including the manager β stopped me and asked where I was going. When I explained that I was going to the bathroom, the response was: βBut you are going to order a drink, right?β I replied that of course I was, I just needed to use the restroom first. Even so, the manager insisted that she would be waiting for me. The tone, the manner, and the clear sense of distrust in that interaction were completely unnecessary and unpleasant. In a leisure venue, customers should feel welcomed, not questioned or monitored from the very first minute. It is not about the rule itself, but about how it is communicated β without empathy, without courtesy, and with an openly intimidating attitude. A hospitality business survives on the experience it provides. When that experience begins with suspicion and poor manners, it is very difficult for anyone to want to return. Being located in the city center may attract passing customers, but loyalty depends on how people are treated β and this is where this venue fails. There is a consistent feeling that there is a management problem affecting the overall atmosphere of the establishment. When leadership does not convey hospitality or respect, that attitude inevitably reflects on the team and the customer experience. In the end, they kicked me out of the place because I asked for a complaint form and they asked for a bad review due to the way I was treated. That's really not cool of you.
This place is a scam. They only allow one SITTING person per table, and if you donβt order the drinks they want you to order, they threaten to kick you out. On top of that, they overcharge if they realize youβre not from Madrid. The bar lady and the karaoke host were extremely disrespectful. If youβre a group of five and even one person doesnβt drink alcohol (God forbid itβs for religious reasons or any other personal matter), they wonβt let you stay and demand that everyone at the table buy their overpriced alcohol. Iβve been to 98 countries, and itβs honestly sad to see this kind of scam in Madrid, of all places. Very disappointing, very disrespectful, and absolutely terrible value for money.
Best place to come and have a great time . Karaoke selection itβs the best and ambiance 100% Maria is the best !!
What a fun karaoke bar. Great atmosphere, amazing singers and sounds. Super friendly staff .. a great night!
Stopped at la Esquina for a cana y tapa. The beer was Mahou and the tapa was a rich chorizo . The bar has an excellent selection of tapas to choice from. Atmosphere was really nice in the bar and service was good too. Will return again for sure.
