Low-key restaurant offering a range of hams, sausages & cheeses for charcuterie boards, plus tapas....
If you’re in Madrid and want something casual, tasty, and authentic, this is a must. We honestly tried everything hahaha 👏🏻🤤 To me, this is exactly what you picture when you think of a true Madrid tapas afternoon. We had blood sausage with rice so good. The olives they serve with the beer were amazing. The anchovies were a must (my favorites), and the beers were ice cold, just how they should be. We also ordered patatas bravas and of course the jamón, which is clearly the star of the place. Everything was flavorful, simple but done right, with that classic lively atmosphere that makes you feel part of the local experience.
Terrible food, chicken wings were hot on the outside and stone cold in the middle. Secrrto's secret was they don't use seasoning and serve it medium rare. No salt and pepper on the tables and forgot to bring us drinks but still charged us for then. Stay away.
We came here for the paella, as it was recommended by my sister. We had paella during the day and at night. It was very tasty. We received pincho’s with our drinks and a basket of fresh bread. 🥖 every time except for one the service was very good. 👍 the one time it wasn’t was with a waiter named Andreas. He was rude. Usually we would get a pitcher of cold water with ice so everyone could drink, but this guy told us we had to buy the bottled water and that the boss told him to sell everything he could, no freebies. That day we cut our meal short. My daughter got upset and left! I spoke to the manager that was in charge that evening and he excused himself for the waiter. He informed me that he would speak to the waiter in question. The young waiter (Estevan) that was working with Andreas was also apologetic and I informed him that we didn’t want the other waiter to come to our table anymore. Estevan served us well and when we left, I didn’t leave a tip on the bill so that Andreas would not receive anything. I slid a healthy tip into Estevans pocket. We loved the food!
Olives were very delicious, 2 of 3 types chorizo good. Would like to try jam or 100% bellows, but we didn’t have enough time
The service is great, the food is delicious and with good variety, you should try everything!
