Los Pinchos de Juan

My mom and I arrived in Madrid last night, today we wanted to try some local food, of course we are talking about Tapas. Didn't know where to go, we googled tapas places near me and it showed Juan's place. Took a short walk and once we arrived , I guess Mr. Juan him self welcomed us. Recommend several options and that was it. Champiñones a la plancha, Pulpo a la gallega, bacalao [ house compliment] and a delicious Orejas de cerdo. Simply marvelous. This meal cannot be served without birras [ tasty cold beers]. This place is outstanding.

Excellent local joint for tapas. We had the fish of the day "matrimonio" pan fried with chips, outstanding!

Great and cozy little bar, we ordered 2 small beers and instantly got "jamon" with it. Very good! One of those typical local places... 👍🏻💪🏻

A cozy bar but the octopus and shrimps were awful: the octopus was bitter, shrimps were super salty
