The "potato omelet" is no longer homemade, nor does it pretend to be, even though it's priced as if it had been prepared by a Michelin-starred chef. The quality has plummeted, and the result is a difficult experience to digest, both on the plate and on the bill.
GOOD CAFE IN A VERY HOT AREA They only have one chance of failing. With terrible service and a mediocre product selection. They're right next door to none other than the La Maestranza Clinic, meaning they're stuck with customers. Speaking of quality, you can't serve croutons with sliced bread. Otherwise, the prices seem reasonable for today's market.
An ordinary place, but with prices typical of the Salamanca neighborhood or the beach. I've lived in the neighborhood all my life, and almost €3 for a tea seems a bit excessive. It must be watered down with spiritual water and made with special herbs... it's my fault for not appreciating that intense and rich flavor. Congratulations! I won't go back again...
My wife and I went for breakfast. We ordered coffee with milk and croissants. Both were very good. The service was very quick and efficient, perhaps not the friendliest, but effective nonetheless. We liked the atmosphere. The terrace is lovely with its glass walls. We enjoyed having breakfast there.
I tried some empanada and I can't say it was bad, but I had the impression everything in the shop was overpriced. I'm not sure it's worth it.
