Great churros and porras in Madrid at affordable prices. The staff were nice and friendly. Highly recommended. Don't overspend somewhere else with lower quality.

So much better than Chocolatería San Ginés. The churros at 1902 come out fresh and piping hot, perfectly crispy, and the hot chocolate is incredible — thick, rich, and actually worth dipping into. The service was excellent too: friendly, fast, and welcoming, without the rushed tourist vibe. On top of that, it’s better priced for higher quality. If you’re in Madrid and want churros con chocolate done right, this is the place. Would absolutely come back.

They have 2 locations, each are across the street from each other. The ambiance is nice and cozy inside (much cuter than maestro churrero). Their gluten free churros are better than the ones offered at maestro churrero, but their chocolate sauce isn’t as good as the one there. The milk chocolate is better than the dark chocolate sauce here. If you’re expecting churros like in the U.S., you will not find that in Europe. They are not sweet at all, but that is how it is.

The best Churros in the world. Well, that I’ve tried so far. The churros is perfect, simple and traditional. The chocolate dip and drink is warm, thick and hearty. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place can be packed but you don’t need to wait long to get seats. There is a takeaway also if you just want to try. I saw local eat here so meaning it’s good even for the locals.

Delicious churros and really patient and kind customer service. I can’t eat gluten, lactose, eggs, soy and nuts and the gluten-free vegan churros and lactose free chocolate sauce catered perfectly to my allergies. They also tasted amazing, were filling and well priced! Would highly recommend and wish I could go back 😍😋
