Weekday mornings are the quietest
Today they raised the price of breakfast from β¬3 to β¬3.20 just like that...for no reason...and the excuse is that everything is going up...(except salaries) and the girls next door still have it for β¬2.60. Obviously, I'm not coming back. Besides, Miguel isn't there, and he's the only one worth having serve you.
The worst possible rest for a traveler. Not only is it meager (breakfast in my case), but it's also terrible. A breakfast of coffee and a tomato bar that costs β¬3 comes with this tiny roll, canned fried tomato sauce (disgusting), and a 1/5 liter bottle of oil (refilled with who-knows-what). Deplorable. Hopefully, they'll inspect these places and shut them down.
For a Spanish business, you're left with a bad taste in your mouth... the tomato they put on the toast is from a can, and the ham is barely there... The coffee with milk is horrible... I would never recommend it!
The cook was talking over my food on her phone while preparing it. when I spoke about it they got upset. I paid the bill but will not eat it. No gloves, touching the bread and handling the phone is disgusting!!!
Terrible service, very unpleasant and rude. My friend and I bought several large bottles of water and sat down for a moment after walking around Madrid showing the city to some Portuguese friends, while they were coming back from the restroom. The same guy who had sold us the water a few seconds earlier came and rudely told us to get up, that we couldn't sit down, since we had paid β¬1.50 for the bottles and they were to go, assuming we weren't going to buy anything else. To be honest, there was only one price marked and all the tables were completely empty. You couldn't have given a worse impression and service; it's shameful. We went to the place across the street to eat and drink something, which is what we had planned to do there, but that's the downside of not hiring professionals or at least polite staff who are eager to work. I should add that seeing the owner's response to my review, which included personal attacks, I understand everything. I'm very fortunate to have received an excellent education, and I'm not just referring to academics. I can read and write. If you're going down that road, try not to make spelling mistakes like using "esagerar" with an "s" or omitting accent marks, not to mention the use of commas. The drinks machine displays a single price, and it doesn't specify that it's the takeaway price. However, that's not the point, and I didn't complain about the price; we were going to eat and drink while seated. But you can't expect someone like you to understand what happened when you demonstrate such poor reading comprehension. Perhaps the fault doesn't lie with the public's education, as you claim. Best regards
