Great atmosphere, tasty drinks.
We were killing time in the area and went in without realizing it was a bar just before closing time. We ordered a water and a beer. The owner told me it was €5.60, cash only. When he gave me the change, he overcharged me by 10 cents, and when I told him, he got upset. He said, "What a nasty touch!" It's his own fault if he does the same thing to all his customers. I only leave a tip when I think it's deserved, not like this. My husband asked him to give us a small plate of olives and charge us for it, but he said he didn't have any. Then we saw him put away a full platter. It's a typical old-fashioned bar, but it lacks class, just like the owner, I suppose. I would never recommend it.
A traditional tavern, pretty but poorly maintained with peeling paint on the walls and the cleanliness could be much better. The gentleman who serves is polite, but it's unacceptable that he charges €3 for a very small glass of wine with three bags of crisps.
A classic, old-fashioned bar with a very polite and pleasant owner. The toasts are excellent, made with top-quality ingredients. It's clean, and the decor is worth seeing. I visited yesterday, January 17, 2026, and had a really pleasant time.
It's a charming, old-fashioned bar, clean and with very friendly owners. I don't understand the bad reviews; I think people are too used to modern things and don't know how to appreciate these old-fashioned places, which are the best.
