Weekday mornings are the quietest
One of my favourite hidden gems in Madrid. I stumbled across this place looking for a decent flat white in the morning (kiwi coffee snob here) and was blown away by the kindness & top tier banter of the owners, which is an absolute cherry on top for the excellent coffee they serve. Mil gracias a todos, el mejor cafecito en Madrid!
A home away from home! Enrique, Reina and Mateo are the heart of this wonderful artisan family roastery. The passion and tradition of incredible coffee can be enjoyed in every cup! The coffee is expertly prepared, but moreso the love and passion for their craft shines through in everything they do. Amazing coffee, but so even better people. Come and experience the love when you walk through their doors. 10/10 experience all around. Todo perfecto!
My friends and I stopped by here on our last day in Madrid and were extremely pleased with both the coffee and service. There were many different options for beans(all roasted in house) and the coffee was rich and flavorful. Our barista was extremely friendly and beyond welcoming. He took the time to explain the differences between the beans and clearly has a passion for the work. Hands down the best coffee shop experience I have ever had, I hope to return one day!
This cafe is a hidden gem in Madrid - Enrique and Reina are so passionate about coffee, and you can tell with the amazing product and space. I did the barista class and learned a ton about how to properly evaluate beans, prepare espresso, and steam milk. 100% recommend for either having coffee or taking a class!
Oh my. Wonderful, wonderful place. The barista was so helpful and friendly, and made me the most delicious filter coffee. Great espresso options are available too. The pastry was delicious to go with it. It's small, and they spend as much time roasting as they do being a cafe. If you're in Spain, you should buy their beans to try at home. If you're in Madrid and wanting to try good coffee, you're blessed with so many options, but this café should be at the top of your list.
