The quality of the products is amazing. The kind of the lady attending to the public is awful. She is not rude. However, to be facing the public, you have to have "don de gentes" and unfortunately, she has really no clue how to take care of people. She should be more humble and nicer to the customers. At the end, no customers have no business.

I discovered this shop by chance while walking on my old Chamberi neighborhood. They had a sign saying "pan de verdad" (true bread). I ordered a "pan de verdad" like the ones shown in the picture. At lunch time I could confirm that it trully was true bread. The best I have eaten in some time!

Alfredo, the owner, is a super carismático and intelligent guy. This place is a gem with affordable prices for what the quality these guys are dishing out. I got the carrot cake and sour dough bread and am in heaven. Def give it a shot if you're around.

This is an absolute gem of a bakery in Madrid. I wish I was here long enough to have come here more throughout my stay, but I’m at least happy to have had it once. I tried the almond croissant and it was divine. The staff was super kind and patient while we looked over everything and decided what we wanted to have.

Bread heaven! This bakery proves that all breads are not created equal! We tried all of the bakeries in our neighborhood and Vanille is our favorite by far. Even beats the fancy bakeries in Almagro.
