Café De La Rivière

Such a charming two-floor café! Super cozy and welcoming. The food was genuinely tasty, and the service was kind and attentive. At least part of the staff speaks English, which made things easy for us. We ordered the tuna sandwich and the egg & avocado sandwich — loved both! The juices, coffee, and pastries were all fresh and really good. Highly recommend stopping by ☕✨

during my stay in madrid i’ve tried a lot of empanadas and this one was one of the best ones. the interior was cozy so was the atmosphere. service was perfect so i’m sending warm hugs to the barista who helped us with wine and cups:) too bad i visited in late hours so i couldn’t try coffee here highly recommend!

Small but nice place and friendly staff. Today we had toasts with natural tomato, fresh avocado and a very good quality ham. A bit dear but it worth the price.

Really love this cafe! I am never disappointed with the service and quality of the coffee. So lucky to have it close in the ‘hood. The empanadas and desserts are top notch. For the first time since I’ve been coming over the years, I ordered a Tinto de Verano (red wine cooler) and was served this lovely summer drink to enjoy on their terrace. They deserve 5 stars!!!
